I don't regret my youth

In 1933, Professor Yagihara leaves the university under pressure from the Nazis. His daughter Yukie falls in love with a former student, Noge, who has gone underground. In 1941, she arrives in Tokyo, where she meets Noghe again, now a member of the anti-war movement. They live together, but their happiness turns out to be short-lived.
