In the media, they usually talk about him in the context of heroic ascents or deaths, and the image of the climber develops as a person obsessed with adrenaline and thirst for risk. But is this really the case? Perhaps mountaineering has another, less well—known side - a more accessible, peaceful practice that attracts more and more people, including women?
