Kaiju No. 8

In a world where Japan is terrorized by giant Kaiju monsters, 32—year-old Kafka Hibino, who dreamed of becoming part of the Defense Forces, works as a cleaner, clearing cities of the remains of these creatures. After an accidental incident, he transforms into a hybrid of a human and a Kaiju, receiving the code name "Kaiju No. 8". Now he has to protect people by hiding his true nature.
