Two Rode Together

The cavalry lieutenant and the sheriff, who reluctantly joined him, go to negotiate with the Indians in order to return the abducted settlers. Once captured, they convince the leaders of peaceful intentions. There are four prisoners among the survivors: two decide to stay with the Indians, two return... but in vain.
