The Good Heart

Jacques is the gloomy and stingy owner of a bar where a group of inveterate alcoholics gathers. One day he meets Lucas, a young homeless man who has lost the meaning of life. Seeing him as a possible successor, Jacques takes him under his care and teaches him the strict rules of the institution: no new clients, no attachments, and especially no women. But their fragile union is threatened when April appears, a beautiful girl asking for help, and Lucas decides to break all the rules for her.
