Hollywood stereotypically shows Russians in military uniforms, with earflaps and vodka, often as enemies. After 2001, the focus shifted to Middle Eastern terrorists, and now back to Russia. This is a business: the Russian market is small, so films are rarely reliable, and cinema serves as propaganda.
